Buying a Property
We verify all property listings before they go live. Look for the "Verified" badge on listings. However, we always recommend visiting the property in person and checking all legal documents with a lawyer before making any payment.
Yes! We have partnerships with major banks like SBI, HDFC, ICICI, and others. Our team can help you compare loan options and connect you with loan officers. Just ask for loan assistance when you inquire about a property.
Key documents include: Title Deed, Encumbrance Certificate, Building Approval Plan, Completion Certificate, and Occupancy Certificate. For apartments, also check the society registration. We recommend hiring a legal expert for thorough verification.
Most prices are negotiable. The listed price is usually the asking price. You can discuss directly with the seller or agent. Our platform shows you price history and market comparisons to help you negotiate better.
Renting a Property
Security deposits vary by city and landlord. In Mumbai and Delhi, it's typically 2-3 months rent. In Bangalore, it can be 6-10 months. The deposit is refundable when you move out, minus any damages.
Each listing specifies what's included. Usually, maintenance charges are separate from rent. Some furnished properties may include utility bills. Always clarify with the landlord about electricity, water, gas, and parking charges.
Yes, rent is usually negotiable, especially for longer lease terms. If you commit to 2-3 years, landlords often agree to lower rent. You can also negotiate on the security deposit amount.
Payments & Security
We don't process property payments directly. All transactions happen between you and the seller/landlord. We recommend using bank transfers or cheques for documentation. Never pay in cash without proper receipts.
Always visit the property in person, verify the owner's identity with original documents, never pay advance before seeing the property, use registered agreements, and avoid deals that seem too good to be true. Report suspicious listings to us.
While we're a platform connecting buyers and sellers, our support team can help mediate basic disputes. For legal matters, we recommend consulting a property lawyer. Always keep written records of all communications.
